Looking forward to a boarding session all week. It was between snowpark and cardrona and we chose cardrona cos of the long runs of just continuous terrain park with half pipes and rails all the way down. Well that was Adams idea. We arrived there again on empty fuel to find sod all snow.
Got on the slopes and everything was shut apart from two rails and 2 booters so was a complete joke especially when cardrona had the cheek to charge everyone full price when they only had 1 lift operating.
Naturally we were pretty pissed of so we made the most of it taking loads of snaps with Adamas old Pentax camera. Got some good snaps but the whole thing was a dissapointment with sod all snow there.
The staff said the terrain park wasnt been maintained anymore but they still closed the rails and booters a half an hour before close. I had one last run on the main trail mainly straightlining pulling a few tricks. A good last run to a dissapointing day though. That must be my last snowboarding session though for a long time.
At the end of the day we should of gone to Snowpark for continous rails and half pipe fun. It would of been a good day had there been more snow as its the best resort ive seen for freestyle action.
We eventually made it home after a fuel stop in Wnmaka as we runnig low in Adams car.
Got back home and went up the Remarks access track for a bit of rallydriving action so a good end to the day and Adam got his car stuck. Awesome!
